Poor little Jasmine was so frightened of further abuse and neglect that all she could do was lay in the back of her kennel and shake. She would show her teeth in order to keep the bad people away from her....therefore everyone over looked her. Because of her fear she was scheduled to be euthanized the morning of 2/23/04. This poor little girl was in horrible condition. Her hair was dirty, smelly, and the lack of nutrition on her body was evident. You can tell that all she ever laid on was concrete by the look of her joints. Paw Placement took a chance that we could socialize this scared, neglected little girl and give her a new home with a lot of love and care that she has never known. This by far was the easiest socializing we have come across. With a little food, a few soft touches, and gentle words....Jasmine was a new girl. She couldn't get enough of the belly rubs and gentle carresses. Now she follows her foster mom from room to room...wagging her tail and jumping up to give some big ole Thank You kisses. Jasmine is also in foster care with other cats and dogs and is doing extremely well. Jasmine has now had a bath and is on her way to a full recovery that includes a nutritional diet and lots of love. Jasmine is progressing day by day for the better. She gets so excited when her foster mom gets up, comes home, does laundry, sneezes, etc. etc. She is just an all around happy girl now. Her tail never stops wagging and she is always KISSING. Jasmine's new favorite toy is a tug of wr rope that weighs twice as much as her. Jasmine would love to be in an adult home where the children are over the age of 8. She will need daily walks and a warm lap to cuddle on.
