Poor little Dusti! She sat huddled, matted and dirty in her kennel at Animal Care & Control. Obviously no one had ever taken the time to brush this little girl's coat or let her know what love is all about. Going into the Kennel, Dusti who initially sat aloof, warmed right up to stroking hands. We believe that Dusti is supposed to be a black and white little kitty. However, right now, her predominant color is gray. We are going to have her nappy coat shaved and get Dusti into great shape. She is truly a loving little animal. She let us brush her many matts out with no complaint -- just happy purrs and an incredulous look as if to say, "You like me, you really like me!" And what's not to like? Dusti is a sweetheart who is about to learn that there is more to life than neglect. |
