Spencer is a spitfire! Like so many black kittens at Animal Care & Control, Spencer was left alone in a big kennel, the last of his litter. The general public don't seem drawn to adopt black cats. Nevertheless, this did not deter little Spencer who sat front and center in his little cell, extending his paw out of the fencing to every passer-by. When I squated down to say hello to this lonely boy, he stood up so that he could extend his paw towards my face and let out a little mew. Seconds later, Spencer and I were leaving the pound. Spencer went into a great foster home where his true color quickly began to bloom. This black cat has the most colorful personality and is sure to keep you on your feet.
