Geri was found locked up in an outdoor storage closet. Coworker's of one of the Paw Placement volunteers, thought they had heard a cat crying for over four days. Instead of notifying maintenance, they let the cries go unheard., The Paw Placement volunteer had security open the storage closet and inside was Geri. She was laying listlessly against the wall. A fellow coworker was able to retrieve her and Geri was taken to the vet., It is believed Geri was in that very hot closet for over five days-five days with no food, water, or light. She was extremely dehydrated and very weak and thin., Geri is doing better now that she has received the proper medical care and TLC she deserved. , More to go come on Geri! |
