Boxer mix

Brooke loves to boogie-down. That's one of the reasons I noticed her at Animal Care and Control. Many other dogs were barking and jumping as we made our way down the aisle, but out of the corner of my eye I saw a blond beauty wagging her entire hind end to a rhythm all her own. Approaching the kennel, this girl sat down and pressed her face as closely as she could to where my hand reached through the fencing. Such a sweetie! Brooke is now enjoying life with Paw Placement and has the whole day to boogie away. If you are looking for a best friend (who has some pretty suave dance moves) Brooke is your girl. She has an exuberant personality and will need to go to a home that is fairly active. Paw Placement does not know if Brooke is house-trained but her obvious intelligence promises that obedience training will make a top student out of this already fantabulous dog. Brooke was adopted out in 2003 and returned on 1/04 because the adopters said they could not provide her with the activity level that she needs. She also did jump their fence and ran off at one point. Other than that, they report Brooke was an excellent companion and got along with their other dog wonderfully. Brooke's new home will need to be extremely active. She will need regular trips to the doggie park, hiking, and daily walks to keep her happy and healthy.
