Unknown breed / mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Senior : : Medium Heeler/Anatolian Mix
Look at that face! He is an absolute doll! Eli has the face of a Anatolian Sheepdog and the short body of a Heeler. Eli was turned into AC&C because his previous owners were moving. Eli was then scheduled to be euthanized before Paw Placement stepped in and saved this adorable little guy. Eli is in foster care with other dogs and cats and is doing great! He is currently being crate-trained....although he isn't fond of the crate he is getting better by the day. Eli LOVES the dog park and if he had it his way he would spend the entire day there meeting all of the new people and doggies. At night Eli sleeps next to his foster moms bed and doesn't move the entire night. He has learned how to use a doggie door, but we wouldn't consider him house-trained if a doggie door isn't provided. All in all, Eli is a happy dog, that is very sweet and loving. He would thrive from a home that can take him to a dog park on a regular basis and go for long walks and camping. We would like for Eli to go a home where the children are over the age of 8 since this is one happy guy and he is always wagging his tail...which can give you a couple of good wacks.
