Dachshund/Keeshond Mix

Favre was pulled from Animal Care & Control where he was listed as a stray. From the looks of it, Favre ran away from abuse. When we first approached Favre he put his head down, squinted his eyes and lifted his upper lip as if he was getting ready to be hit. I coaxed him over gently to us and he came willingly wagging his little tail the entire time. As we began to carress his head he gently closed his eyes as if he were falling a sleep. Favre is now in boarding and frolics happily with the other dogs all day. He is definitely not the same little scared guy that we pulled from AC&C. Although he is very sweet and friendly with everyone he comes into contact with, we are still requiring that his new home be one with all adults or children over the age of 15.
