Howard sat in his kennel at AC&C with a little collar around his neck - when I checked his records, I learned that he had been left behind by his humans when they moved. A neighbor took him to the pound, where he sat, with that dingy collar as a tribute to his young life's neglect. When I picked him gently up out of his kennel, I removed that collar as quickly as possible. Howard's new path in life lies with people who value the love of companion animals. Howard is a beautiful boy who loves to be held and sometimes he will give you a purry chirp to show his appreciation for affection. Like all kittens, Howard must go to a home where children understand that cats are not toys. |
