Oliver's human daddy went to Iraq on a military mission and Oliver's human mother decided that she didn't want a cat. So Oliver found himself at the pound, shivering in his litter box with terror at all of the unfamiliar sounds and people poking at him. But if you couched down to his level and talked to him gently, this boy would peer up at you with eyes that said, "Everybody here is looking at kittens and I am so scared. Please take me home." And we did. Oliver is now enjoying a life of luxury as you can see from the photos. Not only does he know a trick - Roll over! - but he has the sweetest disposition around town. Just like the color of his eyes and coat - Oliver is worth his weight in gold! |
