Hawthorne sat in his kennel at Animal Care & Control calmly watching as people passed by. I walked up to him, said "Hi" and he said "Hi" right back. I reached through the wire to pet him and he nuzzled my hand as closely as he could. I looked into his big caramel colored eyes and promptly removed him from his solitary confinement. Hawthorne is a very social feline who loves human companionship. He relaxes into any embrace and loves to be held. This boy is also quite playful and will flourish in a home where active humans want a true family member when it comes to kitty companionship.
