This little girl was found shivering in her kennel at Animal Care & Control. When she caught my eye I knew that she needed a second chance. Upon springing her from AC&C, I took Lucita Chiquita to her new foster home where she would share a home with resident miniature pinscher, Nick. Within seconds of meeting her new "brother" the two doggies were following each other around (and I dare say, Nick was VERY starry-eyed, as were Lucita's new foster parents). Needless to say, the following day, the new foster parents were deciding to become Lucita's new forever home and starry-eyed Nick now has a full-fledged sister. Lucita has a great new home - the PREFECT second chance for such a precious girl.
