Connor is named after Connor Peterson, who did not get the opportunity to live out his life. Our Connor was pulled off the euthanasia list at Animal Care & Control just hours before his life was scheduled to end. He had been waiting for his forever home 11 days, yet no one came to adopt him. The notes on the euthanasia report said "very sweet dog", which caught my eye and forced me to place a late night phone call to the Kennel Supervisor requesting an extension. A quick introduction the next morning told me that I had to take this boy home for foster care. He placed both paws in my lap and kept licking my face!!, Once home, Connor has adjusted nicely-he is cratetrained, knows basic commands and is learning leash manners. Connor loves to play with Tucker and the other girls in foster care. I do believe he would love to interact with children. He seems to be indifferent to the kitties.
