Blue Merle Cattle Dog Mix

Savannah was at Animal Care & Control as a stray; she was never given a chance to go up for adoption as she was too shy. Upon evaluation, we determined that although shy, Savannah would make a wonderful addition to someone's home. She really takes comfort in the presence of dogs and humans. She likes to put her front paws in the pool and tries to entice the other pups in the foster home to play with her. We would like to see her go into a home with other dogs (if possible) or into a family with older children. Savannah was adopted out when she was 3 months old and returned 7 months later for barking too much while in the backyard. Once we received Savannah back into our care we could tell that she never had a bit of training or structure in the 7 months that she was away from us. Happily, she is now receiving the training and proper structure she so desperately needed. Savannah is a new pup, but will flourish throughout the years with continued training and lots and lots of love!
