Stella was turned into the pound to wait for inevitable death like hundreds of other dogs. However, this little girl had a guardian angel who knew this girl's time was up and came to her rescue. Stella is one of the most beautiful dogs we have ever seen. She has piercing golden eyes and long brownish/grey fur that feels like silk. She is just a little doll. Stella's confidence is growing and she is no longer a frightened bundle of tangled fur crouched in a kennel. She prances when she walks, constantly wags her tail and is not ashamed to solicit petting from beloved human friends. Nevertheless, Stella is going to need someone to reassure her that she will never be abused again and that love is in her future. We do not recommend a home with small children - Stella is still skittish of sudden movements and younger children won't recognize her fear. Stella's foster parents report that she is not bird-safe and so, must go into a home where there are no feathered friends. However, Stella does love water so if you have a pool and want a furry friend with whom to spend a sunny afternoon, Stella makes a great pool companion . . . Paw Placement is trying to teach her to make pool side marguartitas, but Stella can't master the blender - Sorry! More about StellaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
