Jade is a beautiful sleek one year old female cat. Considering her young age, Jade unfortunately has learned how cruel and inhumane the world can sometimes be to animals. , Jade was brought to Paw Placement by a Good Samaritan. She was found with a slashed throat on the side of the street., , When she came to Paw Placement, she was very scared and untrusting. Her eyes were were blank and hollow. She would not let any of the volunteers approach her. Any hand gesture or motion toward her frightened her tremendously. , As time went on, her physical and emotional wounds began to heal. She slowly began to allow us into her life. She began to respond through kind words and gentle stroking. She began to give people a second chance. , Her current foster mom tells us Jade loves to be in her company. She follows her foster mother from room to room as she does her daily chores. She enjoys playing with paper balls and other kitty toys. , Jade has progressed tremendously since being with Paw Placement. She has finally regained her trust in humans and is willing to give people a second chance. , It is our mission to find Jade her perfect home. Jade can go to a home with an other cat, but the cat must be very docile. A home where she will be the center of someone?s life, and where she will be able to put her past behind her. Jade?s eyes now glow a brilliant yellow green like two exotic gems. She knows she is finally safe now.
