Rusty was abandoned at the pound. One of our volunteers saw this sweet boy shivering in his kennel and went in to give him some love. Immediately, Rusty leaned against her and begged with his brown eyes, not to be left alone. And the rest is history . . . Rusty is currently enjoying foster care with five cats and four other dogs. Slowly but surely, he is regaining his confidence, despite the fact that his submissive behavior shows that the humans in his past life were not kind. But Rusty's heart is too big to hold a grudge and he is learning how to love again. Rusty's demeanor is gentle but his young age requires that he be exercised regularly. Obedience training will keep this boy on his toes. Rusty will be a great dog for an active home with people who are willing to make up in love, what Rusty has been denied in the past.
